Maryland offers three Junior Divisions for young ladies, ages 6 to 16, who are Irish by birth or descent. Leadership, education, and Catholic example are learned by these young ladies who strive to foster their Irish heritage through social and Catholic Action projects. They also learn Irish step dancing and perform at the Irish Festival, the St. Patrick’s Parade and by invitation at events sponsored by the adult divisions, nursing homes, schools, or whenever they are called upon to show their Irish pride.
